Care
Occasionally clean your
cultured jewellery and pearls gently with a cloth dipped in
alcohol diluted with warm water, or in mild soapy water, then
rinse the cloth in fresh water and wipe the jewellery clean. Dry
them with a soft cloth.
Wait until after applying
your makeup, perfume and hairspray to put on your jewellery.
Some chemicals may be harmful to precious metals and pearls.
Protect your pearls and
stones from rubbing against harder gems.
Wipe your jewellery
softly with a clean cloth before putting pieces away.
Store your pearl
jewellery wrapped in a soft cloth and protected from abrasive
objects.
Rest your pearl strand
from time to time, depending on how often it is worn.
It is advisable to seek guidance annually on restringing.
